According to the CDC, there is no evidence that the virus that causes Covid-19 can be spread to others in a well-chlorinated pool.
The following policies, last updated October 4, 2021, are being observed in order to create the safest environment possible for all involved:
- Scheduling and payments are through touchless methods.
- Social distancing, when practical, is observed during lessons, as well as in waiting and observation areas.
- When practical, we teach from the deck. We may enter the water to demonstrate a skill and then will return to the deck. A parent or caregiver is welcome to be in the water to assist the student.
- At indoor pools, we request that masks be worn by anyone outside of the water, including parents, guardians, and the instructor.
- As the number of Covid cases and guidelines change, so may our policies.
Your responsibilities:
- Check all household members for possible Covid symptoms the evening before, and morning of, the lesson.
- If anyone in the household has possible symptoms, has been exposed to anyone testing positive, or is awaiting test results, text or email to cancel your lesson. Credit will be given for the missed lesson.
