You Can Learn to Swim is an award-winning, woman-owned small business. We are a mission-based business with the goal of saving lives by increasing the number of independent, deep water swimmers. We specialize in one-on-one private lessons. Our client base includes pre-schoolers through adults, many of whom have extra challenges to learning such as, but not limited to, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, and sensory issues. Being a YCLTS swim instructor is a "feel-good job" in a positive, supportive environment.
We have part-time openings available at indoor pools during the school year, and at outdoor pools during the summer. Instructor training is provided to qualified applicants. Schedules are flexible, based on your availability and client demand. Pay is competitive. Experience, certifications and positive student feedback contribute to higher initial pay and raises. This is an independent contractor position. We provide a long-sleeve rash guard (swim shirt) and teaching equipment is available at each of our locations. Instructors purchase liability insurance (about $30/month) and provide their own swim shorts.
